Swapping the pods

On a fortwo the pods are generally installed with the more important rev counter nearest the driver and the less important clock away from the driver. This is possible as both pods are separate items and can be installed accordingly, depending if the fortwo is left or right hand drive.

This it not immediately possible for the Roadster as the pods come preassmbled with the more important boost guage on the left and the less important water temperature guage on the right. This is ideal for a left hand drive:



However, as with all right hand drives, most things on the centre console are not the most ideal way round.
