The piece of trim pictured here is available from smart in a variety of different colours; you could even colour code it yourself. The car below was fitted with a carbon effect piece manufactured by tuner Lorinser.

To remove the old piece of trim the top light deflector needs to be removed.

To do this hold it firmly lift it towards the sky from the front. You will feel it 'pop' as it unclips.

It will quite simply just lift up and away from the speedo head now.

Using your nails or a blunt instrument, lever the old trim from both sides. Again it will just 'pop' free.

The new unit is installed in reverse of removal.
