If you have problems with your key remote, you can still lock the car using the following method.

• If your car is left hand drive, open the driver's door. If your car is right hand drive, open the passenger door. It is important that you open this door otherwise your car will not lock properly.

• Put the key in the ignition and turn it to position 1.

• Press and hold the central locking button for 1s.

• Release the central locking button and you will see the indicator light next to the key symbol flash quickly.
• Before the light stops flashing, turn off the ignition. You will hear the door locks actuate.
• Remove the key and leave the car.
• Close the driver's door (make sure it is closed!) and the car will now be secure.
