Albeit less common than the Roadster, the fortwo cabrio roof can start to sag with age.

From inside the car the rear spoiler/light housing is held tight to the roof frame by 4 T27 torx screws.

Remove these screws. You will find that there may be some silicone sealant surrounding the screw thread.

Carefully lift away the spoiler from the rear of the car.

The cable ends and adjusters are now visible; you can use an 8mm spanner to tighten the roof.

When refitting the rear spoiler, take care to ensure that the brake light wiring is fed back through the access hole.

Ease the spoiler back into position.

To help you line up the screws, you can look through the vents.
