| Fitting the Brabus V6 wheel |
|
|
Park the car up and make absolutely sure the wheels are dead straight. Before you do anything else disconnect your battery, allow around 15 minutes for any residual charge to disappear. Carefully pull the whole wheel towards you slowly, just enough to get your hand behind the cartridge to unplug the electrical connections. Disconnect both of these looms with care as the connectors are quite fragile. Pull the old wheel off the spines. To fit the new wheel you need to feed it onto the spines so its dead straight, reconnect both connectors and line up the two metal locating pins on the car with the two plastic holes on the wheel. Slide it into place and bolt it back onto the car with the T40 bit. (shown from underneath the wheel, outside the car.) Reconnect the battery and test all of the standard functions ie. paddles, horn etc. |
