First off, open the glass hatch and drop the boot drown, unscrew the four Torx T25 bits. (two on each side, see picture)

Pull one side of the top rubber seal up and pull it all the way along the top of the boot to remove. (see picture)

With the boot partially open separate the top of the panel and inner skin just below the catch, push the whole thing down gently whilst pulling the panel clear of the lock.

When it unclips put your hand down between the skin and panel and disconnect the number plate lights.

The panel is now ready to pull clear.
