It is not uncommon for the clutch actuator to become lethargic in its operation.
Before you pay out on a new actuator, you can take steps to free it up.  The actuator is located on the front-near-side of the gearbox.

Using your thumb gently pull the rubber seal from the end of the actuator.  You may want to carefully use a thin screwdriver to lever the edge up a bit.

Take your spray grease/chain lube, and squirt into the actuator.

Now refit the rubber seal; again you may want to use a small screwdriver just to seat the seal over the lip of the actuator.

Now when changing gears, you should hear it is a lot smoother and quicker when engaging the gears. Should you still have an issue, you may need to buy a new actuator unit.
