Fitting roadster wheels on the fortwo is a favourite choice as they are wider, cheaper than aftermarket wheels and are in keeping with the smart look. Roadster steels... These wheels are a lot wider than the fortwo variant and are remarkably cheap even from the dealer. Expect to pay around £120 + VAT from a smart dealer for a full set.
Spikelines... These are the 16" version of the fortwo Strikelines. They are very common on roadsters so prove a real winner when wanting a more muscular look for your fortwo. They are also fitted to the crossblade but are re-coloured in anthracite.
Spinlines... These wheels look fantastic when fitted on a fortwo. They are, however, getting rarer in the second hand market.
Tracklines... These wheels were only fitted to roadster coupes, so not a very common wheel to see for sale these days and the main reason why you don't really see them on a fortwo. They are pretty wide for a 15 with the fronts being 6" and the rears being 7".
Brabus Widestar Monoblocks... These wheels are a bit of a hybrid, running 17" Brabus roadster rear wheels and 16" Brabus fortwo fronts for a real wide look. If wearing the correct 225/35/R17 rear tyres you will need the bigger 'Widestar' arches to allow the wheel to fit correctly (as shown on the car below). You can however fit the same 17" rear wheels by using 205 tyres with standard archs and extensions, this however really depends on your suspension setup as to whether the wheels willl rub under hard cornering.
