The LCD backlights on the dash can be easily changed to create an interesting effect. In order to replace the LEDs, you will need two 509T LEDs. These come in a vaierty of types from colour changing to vivid static colours.

Start by unscrewing the dash as shown

Separate the two sections of the dash by pulling them apart.

On the underside of the dash you can see where the LED back lights are located. The LED backlights are circled along with the tool that you need to remove the OEM ones.

Replace the LEDs and test before you reassemble. If the LEDs do not work, then rotate them 180 degrees.

In this case a red and a blue LED were used to create a cross colour effect.

Reassemble the dash by ensuring both halves clip together correctly.

Tighten the screws underneath the dash.
