fortwo Brabus exhaust straps...

If you have experienced a problem with your exhaust rubbing the tie bar on your fortwo, you may have the 'Version 1' strap.

As the engine rolls naturally, the edge of the strap by the bolt touches the tie bar briefly. This is enough to send a very uncomfortable vibration through the chassis. Brabus have responded by moving the location of the bolt:

Replacing the strap will involve losening the exhaust. Do not put any stress on the mounting point at the turbo.
